GO COLOR CONTINUOUS INK SUPPLY SYSTEMS

All GO COLOR Continuous Ink Supply Systems (CISS) are 100% guaranteed and come with full ink tanks. CISS are a money saving alternative for customers who do a large amount of printing. The printer cartridges remain in place permanently in your printer and all you have to do is simply refill the CISS external ink reservoirs( see our ink refills for great quality GO COLOR Inks).

GO COLOR Continuous Ink Supply Systems save up to 90% printing cost for inkjet printers (Epson, Canon, HP, Brother printers). These systems use no-sponge printer cartridges with auto reset chips; the CISS ink tanks can feed the cartridges with ink continually, so you do not need to purchase expensive cartridges any more. And you can use dye ink, pigment ink or sublimation ink.

All GO COLOR CISS are of the highest quality, with the highest quality chips on the market today. The main advantages of continuous ink supply systems are that the cartridge is always full, delivering even colour every time that remains consistent regardless of the size of the print run. Large runs of photographs or other jobs can be spooled without worry of running out of ink. The external bottles are clear, making it a snap to refill any colors that may be running low with our refill inks, while bottles hold significantly more ink than cartridges, minimizing maintenance.

GO COLOR Ink Refills are available in the following colours, Cyan, Light Cyan, Magenta, Light Magenta, Black, Matt Black, Photo Black, Red, Yellow, Blue, Optimizer Glosser, Light Black, Light Light Black, Orange. our refill inks are also compatible for refilling your printer cartridges.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

What is a Continuous Ink Supply System (CISS)?

CISS is used instead of standard inkjet cartridges. Simply explained the CISS is a self contained unit with its own cartridges fed by tubing from a large ink reservoir which sits beside your printer. The system acts like a giant cartridge by feeding ink to the printer when required and can save up to 95% over the cost of using cartridges.

What is a CISS and how does it work?

The CISS (Continuous Ink Supply System) can provide significant cost saving to home inkjet printing. Quite simply it provides a continuous supply of ink to the printer. The system is complete with its' own cartridges and pre-filled ink reservoirs. GO COLOR CISS custom cartridge draws the required amount of ink from the reservoirs as needed. If you use the 100mls of ink in the reservoirs, you simply refill it over and over again using our refill ink

How much will I save by using a CISS?

That depends how much you print. Obviously, the more you print the more you will be saving. Consider it this way, in our smallest set of replacement inks (100ml of each colour), there is approximately 10 times more ink than a single set of cartridges. Now add the ruppees to the equation and you get 9 times more ink for the cost of one set of OEM cartridges.

How do GO COLOR inks compare to Epson & Canon?

GO COLOR inks are high grade UV dye inks manufactured from Japan and Korea. These inks are manufactured under contract for us according to our requirements and specifications. These ARE NOT GENERIC INKS. The print quality of our CISS are just as good as using inkjet cartridges. Our ink is micro filtered to 0.2 um to ensure stable and fluent printing and prevent head blockages (print heads in Epson approximately 9um). GO COLOR inks have high end UV absorber components which prolong ink life and durability. This means that printed pictures do not fade at the same rate as standard generic inks. Cheap inks tend to use chemical carrier fluids which damage your printer and use excessive alcohol carrier fluids. Generally these inks are not filtered correctly which causes physical blockages to your print heads which can lead to overheating and permanent print head damage.Using top grade raw materials from Japan and Korea ensures a wide colour gamut and vivid output. We have invested a great deal of development and money to ensure our quality of CISS units and Inks is as high as possible. We do not stock low quality cheap CISS units or inks. We have tested them while developing our unit and we have found that they are just not reliable. Poor Ink quality leads to damaged print heads.

Are all Ink Systems the Same?

Absolutely not. There is a great deal of difference between CISS units available in the market today. Some are simply imported copies of reasonable CISS units using low grade inks and components. These tend to be unrelaible and require high maintenance as well as not being condusive to long term use . In our testing we found that units (particularly those imported from China) had a tendency to contain ink that has a high alcohol base. This leads to tube blockages and can cause damage to the print heads. The cartridge design on other units tend only to have a single head seal or rubber style seal which leak over time. We have developed our GO COLOR cartridges to ensure ink flow is even and consistent. We also use a high gauge silicone tubing rather than traditional PVC tubing. Our cartridges contain micro filters (x2 strictly 1~2 um) which are designed to prevent any impurities from reaching the print head (generally 9um). Don't be fooled by cheap imitations. Basically you get what you pay for. It has also come to our attention from our customers that a few sellers are listing very misleading information about their systems as well as openly distributing our systems purporting them to be their own. Our R&D team spend considerable time ensuring the GO COLOR CISS you purchase have been fully tested and we prepare instruction manuals to ensure trouble free fitting and problem solving. We encourage competition however we are finding more and more sellers simply cheap, unreliable CISS.

Please note: GO COLOR inks and CISS are not manufactured by Epson, Brother, HP or Canon. All brand names and trademarks are the property of their respective holders and are used for reference only.

STANDARD INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (FOR EPSON R230 PRINTER)

STEP 1: PRINTER PRE-CHECK

Before opening your new GO COLOR CISS please perform the following print tests to ensure that your print heads are in good condition.

a. Perform a print head clean: This is done by accessing your printer properties through the Start Menu on the bottom left of your screen and selecting the Control Panel. Select Printers & Faxes and locate your printer. Right click your mouse button on this option and chose Properties from the menu and then select Printing Preferences located on the bottom of the general tab. Choose the Maintanence tab and select Head Cleaning.

b.After performing the head cleaning perform a Nozzle Check. The computer will automatically ask you this, however, if it does not then simply choose to perform Nozzle Check on the printer maintanence screen. Your printer will print a series of lines in different colors. If the printer has printed a perfect result i.e. there are no missing lines in the image printed then your print head is alright and you can continue with the installation. However, if the printer printed missing lines or uneven coloring then repeat the above steps. If however, the second or the third print is also the same as the first i.e. has missing lines then it can be concluded that your print heads are damaged and they need to be replaced before you can install the CISS.

STEP 2: PREPARING YOUR CISS FOR INSTALLATION

STEP 3: PREPARING THE INK TANKS

STEP 4: INSTALLING THE CISS

a. Turn your printer on and press the Change Cartridge button on the printer. The cartridge holder will move to the middle of the printer. With the power still on remove the power cable from the back of the printer. This will allow the printer head to move freely back and forth in the printer.

b. Open the cartridge holder and remove the old cartridges from the printer. Insert the new CISS cartridges into the printer. Please ensure that the cartridges are placed in the correct colored cartridge holder and they have clicked into place.

c. Close the cartridge holder ensuring not to twist any of the tubes.

STEP 5: TUBE SETUP

STEP 6: TUBE ADJUSTMENT

a. Adjustment to the tube length may be required. To check this move the cartridge holder to the left and right to each end of the printer. Check the tube that it is neither too long nor too short. The tubing should not interfere with the printer data wire nor should it fall into the paper support.

b. If required, adjust the tube length by gently pulling the tube though the clip in the direction required. Please don't have the tube fitted too tightly.

c. Re-insert the power cable to the rear of the printer and perform a head cleaning and Nozzle Check as per step1. Please note that this may need to be performed several times to ensure excess air is removed from the lines.

STEP 7: REFILLING THE CISS

Please ensure to keep topping up the CISS on a regular basis to avoid running dry. Ink must be refilled prior to reaching the refill line on the bottom of the ink tank else you will need to re-prime the CISS to remove the air in the tubes (this process is mentioned in the next step).

a. To refill each ink simply remove the air filters and replace the travel plugs for the color you are refilling.

b. Remove the filler plug and carefully pour or syringe the correct colored ink into the appropriate ink reservoir.

c. Please ensure to double check the color with the sticker located on the ink bottle and the ink tank.

Once refilled, replace the filler plug then remove the travel plugs replacing it with air filters.
